   Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand
moderate. Unconventional Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market. Today those steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher on a very light test.
Demand moderate. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested. Slaughter heifers
not tested last week so no comparison. Breaking and Boning Slaughter cows
sold mostly steady on good demand. Lean cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower on 
moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady on a very light test.
Cattle supplies included 104 steers; 113 heifers; 516 cows; 19 bulls; and
56 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
                                                                       
   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1500-1525 lbs few 125.00-
128.00. Choice 2-3  1275-1625 lbs 118.00-124.50. Select 2-3  1225-1525 lbs
111.00-119.00. Unconventional steers  1300-1700 lbs 119.00-128.00, mostly

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein Bull 
calves traded mostly steady to 10.00 lower. Holstein Heifer calves mostly 
steady on a very light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR 
program graded 385 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.

2  94-128 lbs 100.00-118.00; 80-92 lbs 65.00-85.00. Number 3  90-130 lbs
