For the past ten years, Spartan Insurance has awarded scholarships to deserving students who are studying agriculture or related fields. Through 2010, Spartan Insurance has awarded $55,000 in Scholarships to assist students with the rising cost of college.
The future of agriculture is definitely important to our business. We feel it is important to do our part in supporting the students interested in careers in agriculture. We continue to be impressed by the number of high quality applicants we receive each year. Agriculture is a very important industry to our state and there are still great opportunities for students pursuing careers in the industry. We started the scholarship program to do our part to help the future of agriculture. Spartan Insurance wish them the best in their future endeavors and are excited to have these quality students entering the agricultural field.
